Citronella pure essential oil has a fresh lemony aroma which is quite powerful a yellowy brown colour, can be used in pot pourri or burners. It has uplifting properties it can also beneficial for easing feelings of depression. Most common use for Citronella is as an insect repellent, it can also be used intreating colds and flu by inhaling. Originates from Sri lanka. Only the leaves are used which are then distilled by steam.
